The World March concluded on Jan 2nd, 2010, after 92 days of travel from New Zealand to Argentina. Thanks for all your support!

Leading up to, and during, the  World March, here in Canada we organized a lot of events, of which here is a sample:

• Kick-off events for the World March on Oct 2nd in various cities

• A series of events for World March Canada days on Nov 19-21 in BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec

• In Quebec alone more than 14,00 students participated, forming human peace signs and other event

• We also had education for nonviolence workshops in Quebec and Ontario, and the Dusty Sneakers initiative organized out of BC

• In the Yukon a bunch of people climbed up Grey Mountain with a World March Banner

The World March for Peace and Nonviolence was started by World Without Wars and without Violence. With the March over, we intend to continue activism for peace and nonviolence under the World Without Wars banner in Canada. We are eager to collaborate, creatively and openly, with other organizations and people who want to express their desire for peace and nonviolence in the world.
