CANADA WORLD MARCH DAY Activity - Fri Nov 20

In the weeks since the March began on October 2, the World March Yukon Banner has been taken to various community events. The WM Yukon Banner is a work-in-progress, with design elements being contributed by a variety of community members.

On Friday November 20, the World March Yukon Banner will be hiked to the top of Grey Mountain the Yukon and put up permanently. Once in place other visitors can reflect on its words and meanings and see how many people are in support of peace and nonviolence.

As well, the north wind will carry the many good intentions from those that have participated in creating the banner to those in the March, and beyond.
