The World March is being advanced by the Humanist Movement, and was initiated by an affiliated organization, Mundo Sin Guerras/World Without Wars. World Without Wars has been working in the field of disarmament and peace for over 15 years.

In Canada to date, the Humanist Movement, World Without Wars, the Nonviolence Festival, and the Réseau International Humaniste are co-sponsors. We warmly invite other organizations to become actively involved in the national coordination, or to launch their own WM activities, like the Unitarian Church in Edmonton.

Internationally, the WM is pleased to count on the active collaboration of Mayors for Peace and Abolition 2000.
