Dec 1 - an international delegation of the March Team arrives in Canada for a 2-day, 2-city tour. Their message of an end to violence was warmly received by Montreal City officials, members of Parliament, and probably best of all, cheering youth. > report > video

Dec 2 - Members of the international March Team arrive to the Hill in Ottawa for a peace sign and rally with school kids, peace groups, and MPs. That day, the March and the Charter for a World Without Violence were presented to Parliament by Bloc MP Meili Faille. > report > video

Canada World March Days

Nov 19-21 - More than 14,000 people got involved in 'World March Days', with activities and events in support of the March, and gearing up for the arrival of the international March Team to Canada two weeks later. There was a giant student peace sign in Gatineau, Pyjama, Candlelight, and Downtown Walks, and other activities, including a climb to the top of Grey Mountain in the Yukon. > more
