There are many ways to get involved in the World March in Canada:

INVITE FRIENDS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO ENDORSE:
The March intends to create a new social consciousness of nonviolence. For this to happen, we need millions of people and organizations to know about it. You can also help spread the word by putting a banner or link to the March on your website or blog.

MAKE THE MARCH YOUR OWN: Express peace and nonviolence in your very own way. Develop a project, or plan an event for the launch on October 2, for Canada World March Days (November 19-21, 2009), or for any time between the March's start on October 2 and its end on January 2, 2010. The March is coming alive around the world through the creativity and ideas of people like you.

LEND A HAND: We need help with Publicity/Media; Research; Video/photography (events, promotion); Graphic Design; Fundraising. Or help out at an event.

PRESSURE: Write a letter to your government representatives at every level, asking that they endorse the March and its proposals.

DONATE: All the organizing of the WM is 100% volunteer. Consider donating funds, or even advertising space, printing, video production facilities, a video projector, logistical support.

MAKE A COMMITMENT TO NONVIOLENCE IN YOUR LIFE:
Nonviolence is not just a methodology or tactic; it is also a profound philosophy and an attitude in front of life. The transformation of violence in society begins with us, and the March is a time for all of us to examine how we “live nonviolence” in our own lives. See the Pledge of Nonviolence.
